Casting Time: 1 Action
Range/Area: 120 ft
Components: S, M*
Duration: 10 minutes (concentration)
Classes: Wizard
*Lint.
As an action, you can conjure one planar wire that extends up to 120 ft from you. The wire is always attached to you and cannot be cut or broken by non-magical means. You can move the wire in any direction.
Shape. It can form shapes and knots.
Attach. The tail end can attach to any solid surface, object, or creature and stay attached until the spell ends.
Spy. The tail end can listen for any sounds within a 30 ft cube, which you can hear.
Restrain and Release. The wire can capture a large or smaller creature by wrapping around it. If the creature fails a Dexterity saving throw, it becomes restrained. On its next turn, the creature can make a Strength saving throw to end the effect.
As a bonus action, you can unravel the wire to inflict 1d10 force damage and release the creature from restraint.
On each of your turns or until the spell ends, you can make a new planar wire, but the previous one will disappear.
At higher levels. For every odd level spell slot above the one used to cast this spell, you can create and control one additional planar wire.
